Ms. Shelor brought her 9th grade Spanish class down to visit today to read to us in English and in Spanish. We had a great time visiting with them! Out Kindergarteners loved the extra attention.

Everyone did a WONDERFUL job running yesterday in our bus run! We all ran between 8-15 laps! That's so awesome! They were all VERY determined to do well. :)
Next week in Social Studies we will be discussing Cinco de Mayo and Mexico. At the end of the week we are going to have a special afternoon snack to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. If you are interested in sending in anything to help us celebrate, you can sign up here.
I have also noticed that a lot of children are not bringing water bottles to school. Please be sure so send a water bottle everyday. Especially now with the temperatures heating up. A lot of students really enjoy playing a game in the classroom during dismissal, this game is called Teach Your Monster. It works on letter sounds and builds into words.
